The Legend of Eden 2

This was a windows port of an unreleased Saturn scrolling shooter.

It is unknown why the Saturn port was canceled, however it is likely due to poor sales of the console.

The game itself is somewhat rare. It plays very similar to other top down scrolling shooters, however the enemies are often organic rather than other airplanes. The story, based on the intro, appears to be about returning to a planet that was over run by creatures and trying to clear them out so that civilization may return.

The game can be controlled with the mouse, which is unique.

"Set on Earth in the future, it is show-down time for humans battling strange, computer-generated life forms. With spectacular computer graphics and the time-proven vertical "shoot-'em-up" game style, it provides an intense gaming experience for all."
