About this game

The second game in the Super series ,

it takes place ten years after the events of the first game. During this time, life was peaceful, but the world has once again fallen into war. The protagonist, Yan Qingfeng (彦清风, Yan Qingfeng), and his friend, Bai Zhichao (白志超, Bai Zhichao), set out to find the heroes who restored order in the past.

The gameplay is essentially a familiar Asian turn-based tactics game with role-playing elements – completing a sequence of missions in which the player and enemy take turns, issuing commands to their units, of which each can typically perform at least two: movement, attack (melee or ranged), or use magic (attacking or healing). There are six main stats: attack (攻擊), defense (防禦), speed (反應), magic (廉力), combat technique (戰技), and melee skill (劍術). These stats increase automatically as you level up, which in turn increases as you gain experience from defeating opponents. A party can consist of up to five people.

A curious feature is the ability to choose the next mission through dialogue, which introduces a certain element of nonlinearity.

The graphics are designed in an isometric perspective, but the level of detail in both the locations and the character sprites is reminiscent of early Windows 3.x titles. The music is also standard in sound, although there are some good tracks.
