About this game
Yet another rare game from Entrex and successor to "Discover the World II" and "American Revolution". This one takes place in the era of the Punic Wars. Events begin to unfold in January 219 BC, when we, in the role of the leader of the Carthaginian troops Hannibal, begin our path to glory (or shame) in Cartagena, burning with the desire to fulfill the last will of our late father - and put an end to the power of Rome.
Both in appearance and in the interface, "Hannibal's Heroes" is indecently reminiscent of both of the already mentioned strategies of the same author (on the pages of which you can glean all the relevant information) - especially "American Revolution" . In this regard, the only difference between Hannibal's adventures and the last one is the absence of the "Info" section in the top menu, one of the control panel scales on the main screen (instead of the money supply, there is a "strength" slider here, hinting at the current number of troops entrusted to our command), and, of course, a global map, which depicts the western part of the Mediterranean. Large cities are highlighted with yellow dots on it, accessible for visiting via the "submap" (called up using the button with the image of a house, which has replaced the magnifying glass).
